Raheem DeVaughn Releases New EP ‘Winter in Love’

R&B

Raheem DeVaughn, the self-proclaimed Love King, is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a new EP, Winter in Love. The eight-track project follows his 2023 seasonal EPs, Fall in Love and The Summer of Love

On Winter in Love, DeVaughn takes listeners on a voyage through love’s twists and turns. On “Before You Leave,” he pleads for his lover to stay and work things out during a rough patch. The somber “Love The Pain Away” finds DeVaughn yearning for a new partner who will alleviate past heartache.

It wouldn’t be a Raheem DeVaughn project without bedroom bangers like the steamy “Your Place or Mine,” where he sings about making love all night until sunrise.

He pays homage to legendary soul band L.T.D. with a faithful cover of their 1976 classic “Love Ballad.”

Regarding his latest project, DeVaughn tells Rated R&B: “Winter In Love completes the Seasons Of Love Series. This EP offering will allow listeners to raise their vibration during cuffing season and beyond.”

Winter in Love is available exclusively on EVEN, a direct-to-fan music platform. Fans can pay any amount for the full project. (A sampler of Winter in Love is provided at the end of this article.)

DeVaughn adds, “This release is especially special as the fans will be able to have more access and fantastic experiences with my partnership with Even.biz and upcoming performances on The Good Life Tour.”

As DeVaughn noted, he will be joining Ledisi on her Good Life Tour beginning March 7 at Prudential Hall in Newark, New Jersey.

DeVaughn will perform at select stops, including Philadelphia, Baltimore and Charlotte. The tour concludes April 14 at Fox Theater in Oakland, California.
