PARTYNEXTDOOR has returned with his new single “Real Woman” via OVO Sound.
Over a slow-burning backdrop — produced by Prep Bijan, Eli Brown and Noah “40” Shebib — PARTYNEXTDOOR praises a love interest who is “the type of girl I’d make my wifey.”
He sings in the chorus, “I spent mills on her / And I put trends on her / Think you’re my real woman / Hollywood Berry ain’t got nothin’ on her.”
“Real Woman” is the follow-up to PARTYNEXTDOOR’s 2023 singles “Her Old Friends” and “Resentment.” All three songs will appear on the Canadian singer-songwriter’s highly awaited album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4, out April 26.
In an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, Party explained how his next album feels different than his prior works. “Just where I was in my personal life, how motivated I was, it just reminded me of where I was during that sequence,” he shared. “So it naturally had to be PND 4. It had to be. I’m so excited for this album. I’m also excited for how much work I put into it. I’m excited. That’s why I’m so excited for this album. I’m also excited for how much work I put into it.”
P4 will follow 2020’s PARTYMOBILE, which included guest appearances from Rihanna (“Believe It”), Drake (“Loyal”) and Bad Bunny, who appeared on the “Loyal (Remix).” PARTYMOBILE debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top R&B Album chart and No. 8 on the Billboard 200.
