Rising Afro-R&B artistOdealhas released his new EP,The Fall That Saved Us,via OVMBR/LVRN Records.
The nine-track set, which follows July’s The Summer That Saved Me, includes collaborations with Afrobeats star Wizkid (“Nights In The Sun”) and multi-instrumentalist Elijah Fox (“Reason”).
WhereasThe Summer That Saved Mecaptured the rush of freedom and self-discovery, The Fall That Saved Usis more relaxed and introspective.
Opening with the acoustic-laden “Reason,” Odeal grapples with sleepless nights over a lost love. “There’s a reason / I’m wide awake / It’s ’cause my heart’s still with you,” he croons on the somber track.
From there, he explores themes of trust (“Molotov”), temptation (“Blur”), toxic affairs (“Wicked”), reassurance (“Pretty Girls”) faith (“Children of Yeshua”) and more.
Closing with “Nights In The Sun,” Odeal sends a reminder that even when a season of transition can feel dreadful, the joyous moments indicate the “tables are turning” for the better. “I found my person,” he sings with delight.
Speaking on his new EP, Odeal told Hypebeast, “The Fall That Saved Us is what happens when the warmth fades and you’re forced to sit with the parts of yourself you avoided.”

As indicated above,The Fall That Saved Usis the follow-up toThe Summer That Saved Me. Regarding the latter, Odeal noted, “This EP captures the first summer I truly felt free. Free to move on my own terms, explore new places, reconnect with different parts of myself, and just live.”
He added, “The Summer That Saved Me is a celebration of that freedom, of travel, emotion, and self-discovery. Each track is a fragment of that journey.”
The Fall That Saved Us and The Summer That Saved Me exist in the Lustropolis world that Odeal has been building, which started with his 2024 EP of the same name.
“Lustropolis is the culmination of all the music I’ve created over 2024,” he explained. “A whirlwind of emotions with soulful undertones, this EP explores the most challenging parts of relationships and not only reflects my growth as a musician but shows my fans a different aspect of my artistry.”
In other news, Odeal has announced the dates for the international leg of hisThe Shows That Saved Me Tour. Kicking off March 20, 2026, the 11-city tour will visit the U.K., Europe, and Australia through the spring.
