Nine Inch Nails Welcome Founding Dub Trio Bassist Stu Brooks

Metal

Fans that went out to see Nine Inch Nails down in New Orleans got to be among the first to witness a major change in the band, as they got to see multi-genre bassist Stu Brooks handling the low end for the band. The ‘Peel It Back’ tour kicked off yesterday, serving as the perfect moment to introduce the band’s new addition to the world.

Stu Brooks has made a name for himself over the decades. Born in Canada but now living in Los Angeles, Brooks has worked with some pretty big names in the industry, including: Dominic Fike, Danny Elfman, Dub Trio, Perry Farrell, Matisyahu, 50 Cent, Mike Patton, Kanye West, and more. As you can tell from that list, Brooks isn’t exactly tied down to one genre over an other.

Brooks is a two-time Grammy nominee, as a bassist, producer, and songwriter. he was a founding member of Dub Trio. He’s also worked on film scores with Danny Elfman and produced works by Trent Reznor, Ghostemane, and Iggy Pop.
