Thanks to a recent post on social media, we’re pretty certain that there’s going to be some new music from Converge dropping later this week. I don’t want to say it’s 100 percent certain, but when the teaser is almost as blatant as this one is, it’s hard not to feel confident.
Why do we feel confident, you ask? Well, the teaser the band posted on Instagram features the Roman numerals XI XIX XXV, which translate into 11 19 25, or 11/19/25 — this Wednesday. Couple that with the ringing guitar, the fact that it points to the band’s website, and the knowledge that they’ve already been playing new music live, and you’ve got an extremely easy guess that we’re getting new tunes.
Oh and if you head to the band’s official site, you can scratch away (with your mouse, never use a coin on your monitor) an image that says the phrase “Love Is Not Enough”.
So yeah, keep your eyes peeled. I know we will.
