Mýa takes it back to the ’80s with her new single “Give It to You,” which she co-produced with LaMar Edwards, Michael Cox and John Groover.

“Give It to You” is a slick groove that drips with nostalgic synths and a funky bassline. On the dance-ready track, Mýa can’t help but express her devotion to a love interest. “If you ask me once, I’d tell you twice I wanna / Give you all my love,” she sings in the chorus.

Mýa’s new track follows her show-stopping performance at the 2025 BET Awards on June 9. The Grammy-winning singer delivered an epic rendition of her hit “Case of the Ex” as part of the 106 & Park Reunionsegment. The 20-minute celebration also featured performances by Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Amerie, Bow Wow, B2K and Jim Jones.

“Give It to You” is Mýa’s second song release of 2025, following the passion-filled “Face to Face” in May. In 2024 she released “Anytime” and her dancehall-tinged “Whine” with Bounty Killer in 2023.

Mýa’s last project,T.K.O (The Knock Out), was released in 2018. Her eighth album included the singles “Damage,” “Ready for Whatever,” “Ready, Pt. II” and “You Got Me.” Before that, she released her Grammy-nominated album,Smoove Jones, in 2016.
