Muni Long’s latest single “Made For Me” is a hit. The endearing tune climbs from No. 3 to No. 1 this week on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. It’s Long’s first leader on this chart, in which she has four entries.

Her Grammy-winning single “Hrs & Hrs” came close to the top spot at No. 2 in 2022. Her other two entries are “Another” (No. 13 peak) and “Baby Boo” featuring Saweetie (No. 21 peak).

Elsewhere on Billboard this week, “Made For Me” remains untouched for a seventh week at No. 1 on the R&B Digital Song Sales chart.

On the Digital Song Sales chart, it’s No. 11 (peaked at No. 8 so far). On the Hot 100, “Made For Me” is No. 29 (peaked at No. 20 so far).

As for the Adult R&B Airplay chart, led by Victoria Monét‘s “On My Mama” for a third week, “Made For Me” is nestled in the top 10 at No. 6 (peaked at No. 2 so far).

Earlier this week, “Made For Me” reached No. 1 at urban radio, unseating Chris Brown’s “Sensational” from the top spot. It previously topped R&B radio in December and is Long’s second song to reach No. 1 at urban radio, following “Hrs & Hrs” in 2022.

Long released “Made For Me” on Sept. 15, 2023, via Supergiant Records/Def Jam Recordings. She co-wrote the song with its producers Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox and Jordan XL

This summer, Long will join Chris Brown on The 11:11 Tour, beginning June 26 in Boston, Massachusetts.
