Motionless In White, Scorpions, and The Black Dahlia Murder Among the First Wave of Bands Announced for Wacken 2024

The smoke may have finally settled around Wacken following last week’s heavy metal rager, but that doesn’t mean the organizers for next year’s festivities are able to rest on their laurels. Despite the uncooperative weather this year, Wacken Open Air 2024 will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2024.

With just 360 days standing between now and next year’s Wacken, we should also note that tickets will be available online starting as early as next week. Given the fact that 80,000 tickets were sold in six hours ahead of this year’s festival, you’re going to want to make sure you get your hands on tickets for next year’s fest early.

In addition to the announcement of next year’s festival dates, organizers unveiled the initial list of bands that have already committed to coming back for the iconic German festival. And by the looks of the long ass list below, next year is already looking pretty fucking substantial:
