R&B trio Moonchild has enlisted neo-soul legend Jill Scott and rapper Rapsody for their new single “Not Sorry.”
The head-nodding production bops and weaves through punchy keys and cinematic strings, setting a smooth backdrop for one to set boundaries with a lover.
“I’m not your fixer / I’m not gonna spend my Saturday / Apologizing for your mess,” Moonchild’s Amber Navran sings with her pillowy vocals.
Rapsody appears later in the track with fiery bars from the perspective of an estranged love interest: “She prioritizing herself / She talking more to God / She holding me accountable.”

Speaking on their new single, Moonchild shares, “We wanted this song to feel like a reclamation of voice and power. To have Jill Scott and Rapsody join us in telling that story is truly an honor.”
“Not Sorry” arrives with a performance-style music video, which can be watched below.
“Not Sorry” is the first single from Moonchild’s new album, set to arrive in 2026. The upcoming project is the follow-up to 2022’s Starfruit, which included features from Lalah Hathaway, Alex Isley, Tank and the Bangas, Rapsody and more.
