Grammy-winning singer Miguel has unveiled the official video for his single “Give It To Me.”
Bradley J. Calder (SZA, Tinashe) directed the dark and sensual clip, which co-stars Juliana Nalu. The video “explores feelings of flirtation, desire, intrigue, chemistry and how they tend to draw two people together.”
“Give It To Me” is the lead single from Miguel’s upcoming album, Viscera, which will release on ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records.
The album will also include the Lil Yachty-assisted single “Number 9,” released in August.
Viscera is the follow-up to Miguel’s 2017 album, War & Leisure. The gold-selling album included the singles “Sky Walker” featuring Travis Scott and “Come Through and Chill” with J. Cole and Salaam Remi.
War & Leisure debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 9 on the Billboard 200. It sold 40,000 equivalent album units in its opening week.
War & Leisure scored a nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 61st Grammy Awards. “Come Through and Chill” landed a nod for Best R&B Song.
In 2019, Miguel released Te Lo Dijie (Told You So), his first-ever Spanish language EP featuring reworked versions of select War & Leisure tracks.
In other Miguel news, the singer appeared on Jessie Reyez’s bedroom jam, “Jeans,” released in August.
Miguel is set to perform at the Honeyland Festival in Sugar Land, Texas, on Nov. 11. The two-day festival will also feature performances by Mary J. Blige, Jazmine Sullivan, Lucky Daye, Chlöe, Coco Jones and Inayah.
