When it comes to releasing new music, Miesa has not skipped a beat. The rising singer returns after a string of spring releases with the new song “Perfect Couple.”
Over a lush guitar-driven production, crafted by Aire, Miesa sings in an airy tone about how a picturesque romance may translate well to others but isn’t the same behind closed doors. Yet, all the while, she’s left feeling vacant inside.
“Within the house, I cry / Deep inside your broken / Feels like nothings here / Through your words unspoken / We can’t talk no more / Cause we don’t communicate no / We can’t say the words / Cause we don’t feel them anymore,” she sings.
“Perfect Couple” follows Miesa’s April release “4U” featuring Justin Garner and her two EPs: Feels Like a Memory and Feels Like Before.
