Two men who went missing following Aftershock Festival, Jacob Clark-Jendrock and Anthony Acosta, have been found. That’s all the info we have so far—just that they are safe and no longer considered missing.

“UPDATE- Jacob and Anthony have been located and are safe!!!” wrote Clark-Jendrock’s mother, Shannon Jendrock, in a statement. “Thank you to everyone who have been helping look for them, calling hospitals, praying. Also thank you to the AFTERSHOCK FESTIVAL community for all the tips and shares. I appreciate everyone of them!”

The two men were initially reported ever since they departed the festival and no one heard from them. At the time, Clark-Jendrock’s mother Shannon shared an impassioned plea to help find her son and his friend.

“My son attended the festival with a friend. His name is Jacob Clark-Jendrock. His friend’s name is Anthony Acosta. They drove from Southern California. They have not returned, and no one has heard from them since Saturday night. His and his friends’ phones are both dead.

“We live in Palm Springs, so he would have been driving from Sacramento back home. I have filed a missing person report with Sacramento PD, but have not heard anything. If you have seen him or have any information please message me.”

At the time, Acosta’s parents also filed a missing person’s report, though we’re sure they’re over the moon with the fact that both men have been found.

We’re very glad that the two were located safely, and will continue to monitor the story as details unfold.
