Mary J. Blige Releases ‘Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe)’ Album

R&B

Mary J. Blige has reissued her 14th album, Good Morning Gorgeous, with a deluxe version.

Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe) includes four new tracks, including the recently released “Good Morning Gorgeous (Remix)” featuring H.E.R. The original version peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart and scored Blige her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 in over a decade.

The deluxe album also features her Ne-Yo-assisted “Running,” a bonus track that was only available on CDs sold at Target. Blige also added a “Rent Money (Remix)” with Jadakiss and Griselda, and a “Come See About Me (Remix)” featuring Fabolous.

The standard version of Good Morning Gorgeous was released on Feb. 11, just days before Blige’s spectacular performance at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show. Blige received a hefty boost in streams following her appearance.

Blige, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, will receive her flowers at two award shows this month. On May 10, Blige will be honored with the Legend Award at the 2022 Clio Music Awards. On May 15, Blige will accept Icon Award at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards and will celebrate with a special performance. Before that, though, Blige will host her inaugural Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit in Atlanta, Georgia, held from May 6 to May 8.
