Following the release of his debut single, “Muni (I Used To Love You),” songwriter-turned-artist MarcLo delivers his new track “Marvel.”
Where the former leaned into a jazzy production, “Marvel” stuns over a soulful groove that makes you want to get up and dance. On the self-penned bop, MarcLo is completely spellbound by his romantic partner. “Keep dancing, let me marvel at you / I’m in awe,” he croons.
“This song is about the moment you come across something or someone so special that your whole world stops spinning for a moment,” Marclo explains of “Marvel.”
He continues, “Those types of people I imagine are like crystals, in the way that God’s light shines through them and hits the world in a way that you can’t help but marvel at.”

“Marvel” arrives with a performance-driven music video directed by Aaron Katter.
The visual places MarcLo in his element, creating music in an ambient studio surrounded by a vintage Roland JUNO-60 synth, a Yamaha keyboard, his electric guitar and recording equipment.
Whether he’s tracking vocals in the studio or performing center stage, his goddess keeps his creativity flowing, as if she herself is the music.

MarcLo released his first single in late October. Regarding “Muni,” he explained, “On first listen, ‘Muni (I Used To Love You)‘ sounds like it’s about a relationship between two lovers, but when you really pay attention, it’s actually about how the love of money can be the root of all evil. Still, as much as that might be true, we all need money to survive and live comfortably — and that’s the conversation happening in this song.”
Both “Marvel” and “Muni” will appear on the South Florida native’s upcoming album,11 Days.
