Mammoth Grinder Announce ‘Undying Spectral Resonance’

Metal

We love us some good hardcore. If it can get our juices flowing within the first few seconds it’s definitely a keeper, like Mammoth Grinder‘s new single “Undying Spectral Resonance.” It’s the title track off their upcoming new EP that’s due out this November. Listen to it below.

That’s a pretty cool ass title, right? Duh. Founding member Chris Ulsh intended it to be that way, saying “It’s about the sinister ambiance of a place where something morbid has happened, how it can be a gateway between earth and the immaterial world.” Deep.

Ulsh, who plays in Power Trip, Devil Master, and more, tackled everything on his own with this one. He played all of the instruments and did all the vocals solo, but his touring lineup features some real talent. We’ve got Ryan Parrish (Iron Reagan) on drums, Sebastian Phillips (Noisem, Exhumed) on guitar and Andy Horn (Loud Night) on bass, with Ulsh also on guitar and singing.

Undying Spectral Resonance is out 11/15 on Relapse Records.
