Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter MAJOR. has unveiled the official video for his single “Joy in the Battle.”
The video features MAJOR., dressed in a floral shirt and green fedora, cheerfully singing the uplifting anthem, as some of the lyrics are displayed, along with other animations.
“I do my best to sing and speak from experience, both trial and triumph,” says MAJOR. “In this season and time, we’re all fighting for something better – but that doesn’t mean our HOPE & JOY won’t bring us through to the other side. ‘Joy In The Battle’ is the perfect soundtrack to keep folks set on getting there!”
MAJOR. co-wrote “Joy in the Battle” with the song’s producer Joaquin Bynum (New Kids on the Block, Koryn Hawthorne).
“Joy in the Battle” appears on MAJOR.’s latest EP, The Hope of My Soul, released in June 2023 via MNRK Records. The six-song project is the follow-up to his 2018 album, Even More.
The Hope of My Soul also included MAJOR.’s single “Baby Will You Love Me,” which peaked at No. 16 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart. It spent 20 weeks on the airplay chart.
