Majid Jordan Shares New Song ‘Summer Rain’

R&B

With fall on the cusp, Majid Jordan enjoys one last week of “Summer Rain” on the new song.

The duo’s producer Jordan Ullman and Stephen Kozmeniuk worked together on the superbly created ’80s backbeat suited for the vocalist Majid Al-Maskati’s story about how a stiff love hold pins him down.

Majid sings, “Lost in the heatwave but you came / You came like the summer rain / I’m lost in the heatwave / But you came, you came like the summer rain / I can’t fight the feeling, feeling / Look what you do to me.”

Majid Jordan accompanied the new song with a music video directed by Matthew Daniel Siskin. Watch it below.

Earlier this year, Majid Jordan shared two tracks, including “Been Through That” and “Waves of Blue.” These two songs, along with “Summer Rain,” lead up to a new project from the OVO Sound duo. Their last project, The Space Between, came out in October 2017.
