Lucky Daye Performs ‘How Much Can A Heart Take’ With Yebba on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Last night, Lucky Daye stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform “How Much Can A Heart Take,” featuring Yebba. The tit-for-tat duet is lifted from his latest project Table For Two, which includes guest appearances from all woman singers.

The televised rendition of “How Much” was filmed in a reconditioned chapel made for impressive performances such as Daye and Yebba’s recent one. The two singers were backed by a lovely band, as they vocally argued it out front stage with much heart and soul.

As previously mentioned, Daye cast all women in music for his follow-up to 2019’s Painted. The project featured R&B divas such as Ari Lennox, Queen Naija, Tiana Major9, to name a few. The latter songstress spoke about collaborating with Daye in a recent interview with Rated R&B.

“We got in the studio one spontaneous night and created a great song that happened to fit the vibe of his project,” Major9 told Rated R&B about joining Daye for his song “On Read” in February. “I’m a huge fan of his, so it means the world that he would put me on his EP with other amazing women in music.”

A remix of Daye’s “On Read” was released on Major9’s At Sixes And Sevens Remixed project.

In March, Daye appeared on Alex Isley’s “Good & Plenty (Remix),” featuring Masego.
