Liza leaves it all at the altar in the official video for “Done Is Done.”
In the Isiah Blake-directed clip, shot at an empty sanctuary, Liza lays her burdens down after realizing that this person she invested in is not worth entertaining anymore. She dressed for the part, too, stunning in a silk turquoise gown.
Another notable tidbit seen in the video is a thoughtful quote from Nina Simone present at the beginning. Also, the Biblical verse Matthew 11: 28 ran across the highest parts of the chapel.
“Done Is Done” is the title track to her latest project released in May 2020. She previously shared the visuals for other project tracks such as “Lansdowne” and “Rolla.”
