Remember back during the dawn of the pandemic, when Life of Agony vocalist Mina Caputo said she wasn’t “buying into the fear” surrounding COVID, and compared the virus to the pesticides her dog sometimes might inhale? Wll, that comment has unfortunately not aged well, especially now that Life of Agony have announced that they’ll have to cut their current tour short due to Mina and drummer Veronica Bellino testing positive for COVID.
Here’s the band’s official statement via their Facebook page:
“We have unfortunate news to share: both Mina and Veronica have tested positive for COVID and sadly we must cancel the rest of the Northeast run. We are terribly sorry. These are crazy times and we’re all doing our best to navigate through it together. To all our fans, we plan to make up the shows as soon as we can.
“We’d especially like to thank Dog Eat Dog, Kings Never Die, the opening bands, the venues, promoters, and all of the crew for everything.”
Obviously, this is a bummer for fans, but what can you do? It’s everyone’s safety, and the safety of the people they love, that we’re all worrying about.
Anyway, the following dates appear to have been affected, assuming tonight’s show is a no-go:

2/4 – Warsaw – Brooklyn, NY *
2/5 – The Stony Pony – Asbury Park, NJ *
