Lendryx Is Up Against Serious ‘Forces’ on New Song

R&B

Emerging singer and songwriter Lendryx has shared his new song “Forces.” It was produced by frequent collaborator Dionso with additional production from OSEI and Jproof (Usher, Ariana Grande, Ty Dolla $ign).

“Forces” is a rippling slow jam covering romantic contentment. At times, it feels as though Lendryx revels in swirling around aimlessly in this toxic whirlwind of love instead of moving on. But who can blame him? He gets an instant rush of bliss whenever his companion is around.

“I don’t wanna be in love / But you’re so tempting / When you leave the room, it feels so empty / I’m trying be tough / I’m fighting forces,” he sings.

Regarding his new single, Lendryx says, “‘Forces’ is lyrically dense and coupled with my most dynamic vocal performance yet. I channeled a bit of Tyrese’s vocal approach on ‘Signs of Love Makin’ with Brandy’s influence in the background to help execute the smooth & sensual nature.”

Lendryx’s new song is a great fit for those who struggle to move on from a fiery partner they secretly know isn’t right for them.

“Forces” is Lendryx’s follow-up to “Just My Turn.” The latter track was released in April and marked his first song release of the year. Dionso produced it along with Vianey OJ.

“I’ve always wanted to create a record that blends my love for R&B with my experience serving in the military, but is still relatable to all. Many men & women in service agree that no combat scenario is scarier than losing the ones they love at home, so I hope this is able to express those feelings on their behalf,” Lendryx previously wrote on Instagram about the inspiration behind his track, “Just My Turn.”

In 2022, Lendryx shared the song “Regrets” and his EP, Loyalty.
