Ledisi Announces New Album ‘Good Life’

R&B

Ledisi is ready to celebrate the Good Life on her 11th album, hitting digital retailers on March 1 via Listen Back Entertainment/BMG. Physical copies will be available on March 15.

Along with her album announcement, Ledisi has shared a new track, “Perfect Stranger,” featuring Kenny Lattimore. The romantic track was produced by Ledisi’s longtime collaborator Rex Rideout.

Good Life is Ledisi’s first original album since 2020’s The Wild CardThe upcoming project includes the previously shared singles “I Need To Know” and “Sell Me No Dreams.” It will also include an additional feature by Butcher Brown and production by Camper, Ray Keys, Cory Henry and more.

“I Need To Know” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, where it spent two weeks at the top. It marked Ledisi’s second chart-topper, following 2020’s “Anything For You.” The Grammy-winning hit also spent two weeks on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.

In 2021, Ledisi released two projects: Ledisi Live at the Troubadour and Ledisi Sings Nina.

The latter album, a tribute to Nina Simone, was nominated for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at the 64th Grammy Awards.

On March 6, Ledisi will launch The Good Life Tour in York, Pennsylvania. Fellow R&B singers Raheem DeVaughn and BJ The Chicago Kid will join Ledisi on the road on select dates. The tour will conclude April 14 in Oakland, California.
