LAVI$H Shares New Song ‘Twin’ Featuring Mr. Talkbox: Listen

R&B

Emerging R&B singer LAVI$H is spellbound by his better half on his new single, “Twin,” featuring Mr. Talkbox.

Produced by Tone Mason (Fantasia, Drake), “Twin” hears LAVI$H flexing his velvety vocals over a languorous bassline that’s accented by light percussion and digitized handclaps.

“The way you walk and talk, baby / It’s like someone taught you / Yeah, you my twin, twin, twin / My mini-me, yeah, my Simese,” he sings.

“Twin” is the lead single from his upcoming EP, Who Am I? Vol. 1, out Oct. 3 via 4301, Inc. and Def Jam Recordings.

“Twin” arrives with a music video directed by Dragan Andic (Fridayy, Chris Brown, RealestK). Set in a dimly lit warehouse, the moody video captures LAVI$H on set with fashion models as they snap photos and strut down a runway.

In 2023, the Zambia-born vocalist released his debut EP, You Made A Big Mistake

The seven-track set included his breakout debut single, “World In My Hands,” and the follow-up, “We Make Sense.”

You Made A Big Mistake is the name of my debut EP, but in reality, the time for revenge has passed,” LAVI$H explained. “My sentiment is that our time for war will never be over for them, but it’s over for me… it applies to so many areas of my life.”

He added, “This body of work is best illustrated by the words ‘success is the best revenge,’ and I know my growth will haunt some people — but I think there comes a time when you realize it’s time to become timeless. My time is now and forever.”

LAVI$H concluded 2023 with his standalone single “Your Biggest Fan.”
