Kyle Dion Releases New EP ‘If My Jeans Could Talk’

R&B

Rising singer Kyle Dion has unleashed his new project, If My Jeans Could Talk.

The eight-song EP includes the previously shared tracks “Boyfriend Jeans,” “Let’s Get It On” and “Hang Me Out to Dry.”

If My Jeans Could Talk takes listeners on a journey with relatable themes of love, joy, sexuality and heartbreak.

“During the making of this EP, I took a year off releasing music. Emphasis on ‘releasing’ because I was very much creating every day. I was super inspired because of how much life I had been living and experiencing after the release of my album SASSY,” Dion shares.

“I got to really enjoy the fruits of my labor and travel the world without touring or working. I took the time to get to know myself, not as Kyle Dion, but as Kyle,” he continues. “I disconnected from Kyle Dion for a bit because I had always been fully submerged in my art and, in a sense, I feel like that could have hindered the authenticity of my previous releases.”

Dion notes, “With this EP I’m a bit more vulnerable, a bit more real, and a bit more carefree. I didn’t worry if anyone would like it, but instead focused on how it made me feel, and how I love it and how I wanted to create it for myself, for Kyle.”

If My Jeans Could Talk is the follow-up to his 2021 sophomore album, SASSY, which was reissued with a deluxe edition in 2022.

According to Dion, his new EP is an appetizer ahead of his third studio album.

On Feb. 21, Dion will launch his If My Jeans Could Talk Pop-Up Tour at Echoplex in Los Angeles, California. From there, he will play in New York, Paris and London. Tickets are available on Dion’s official website
