This holiday season, Kelly Rowland heads to the dance floor with “Wonderful Time,” a colorful, upbeat remake of Andy Williams’ 1963 festive hit.
This retro-sounding cover, featuring an assist from songwriting and production duo NOVA Wav, further elaborates why Rowland should be cast for a Donna Summer biopic. She expresses the joy of the season like a true disco queen.
“Wonderful Time” soundtracks the Lifetime holiday movie Merry Liddle Christmas Baby, which Rowland stars and executive produces. It premieres on Saturday, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. EST.
Rowland performed “Wonderful Time” for the first time during the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In July, Rowland appeared alongside CeCe Peniston on Amorphous’ debut EP Things Take Shape.
Rowland issued her latest project, K, in February. The compact release featured the Summer-inspired single “Crazy” and “Flowers,” which received video treatment.
