Keedron Bryant Shares ‘Stubborn’ Video Featuring Curly J: Premiere

R&B

Keedron Bryant is growing up right before our eyes. While he’s mostly known for his social justice anthem “I Just Wanna Live,” he proves that he isn’t interested in being limited to a particular sound. On his new single “Stubborn” featuring rapper Curly J, the 14-year-old relaxes his soulful vocals and experiments with a more pop-leaning sound.

The playful tune finds the R&B heartthrob trying to get a girl’s attention with flirty lyrics like “you brighten up the room when you walk into it.”

When asked about the meaning behind the song, Bryant told Rated R&B, “Stop cappin, you know you want me too.”

“Stubborn” arrives with a supporting video that was directed by Mills Miller. In the colorful video, Bryant and his buddy Curly J are seen hanging out at a skating rink. They both attempt to spit their best game at their respective crushes. Teen dancer and entertainer Jené Marie plays Bryant’s love interest in the club.

Last month, Bryant released another flirty track titled “Hello.” Both songs will appear on his upcoming project that will release on January 14, 2022 via Warner Records.

The project will follow Bryant’s 2020 EP, I Just Wanna Live named after his viral song that became an anthem for the Black Lives Matter movement.
