Kaytranada and H.E.R. were the musical guests on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. The RCA labelmates performed their melodic track “Intimidated.”
The performance opens with H.E.R., wearing her signature shades, behind a piano and Kaytranada at his station. It’s only a matter of time before H.E.R. steps away from her instrument to groove to the music — because who can sit around when a song such as “Intimidated” is playing? As for Kaytranda, he rocks out the entire time.
“Intimidated” is the title track from Kaytranada’s three-song EP, which was released last November. The project also features Thundercat and Mach-Hommy.
Kaytranada has some shows lined up this year. In March, he will perform at M3F Music Festival, IglooFest, Lollapalooza Chile, Lollapalooza Argentina, Estéro Picnic Festival and Lollapalooza Brasil. All upcoming shows are listed on his official website.
H.E.R., who recently made an appearance on Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues, is gearing up to join Coldplay on their Music of the Spheres World Tour in late March. She will be supporting her Grammy-nominated debut album, Back of My Mind. The album is also nominated for Outstanding Album at the 2022 NAACP Image Awards.
