Katy Perry has revealed the tracklist for her new album ‘143’ via the sun-kissed new single ‘Lifetimes’. Check it out below.

Shared last night (August 8), the new song marks the second track to be shared from Perry’s forthcoming album, and arrives on the heels of last month’s lead single ‘Woman’s World’.

Coming as a summer-tinted, house-inspired anthem, the new song also comes alongside a music video directed by frequent Bad Bunny collaborator Stillz.

I know you feel it/ Can you believe it?/ I’m gonna love you ’til the end and then repeat it,” she sings. “Like the sun is always rising/ Like the stars are in the sky/ You and I will find each other/ In every single life.”

In the video, Perry has also hidden an easter egg for fans, with the full tracklist of the upcoming album briefly appearing on a billboard behind the singer around 33 seconds in.

Check out the video in full below, as well as the ‘143’ tracklist.

The ‘143’ tracklist is:

1. ‘Woman’s World’
2. ‘Gimme Gimme’ feat. 21 Savage
3. ‘Gorgeous’ feat. Kim Petras
4. ‘I’m His, He’s Mine’ feat. Doechii
5. ‘Crush’
6. ‘“Lifetimes’
7. ‘All the Love’
8. ‘Nirvana’
9. ‘Artificial’ feat. J.I.D.
10 . ‘Truth’
11. ‘Wonder’

Like with ‘Woman’s World’, Perry made the song alongside Dr Luke – real name Lukasz Gottwald – and it is produced by both him and Vaughn Oliver.

In a statement about the single, Perry said the inspiration came from her daughter – a three-year-old baby girl named Daisy who she shares with her fiancé Orlando Bloom.

“‘Lifetimes’ is a song about eternal love. It’s about finding that one deep and satisfying love of your life. A soulmate doesn’t always have to come in the form of a partner—it can come in all different ways, a child, a best friend, a pet,” she explained.

“For me, it is my daughter—I ask her every night, ‘Will you find me in every lifetime?’ She says, ‘Yes,’ and I feel found. You’ll find each other, over and over again, for lifetimes.”

‘143’ is the first full length album from Perry since she shared ‘Smile’ back in 2020. It is set for release on September 20 and is available for pre-sale / pre-order here.

Perry was recently criticised for her music video for ‘Women’s World’, which some fans suggested was catering to the male gaze rather than challenging it, as seems to be the intention of the female empowerment-themed lyrics. Perry rebutted these accusations, saying the video was intended as satire. “We’re kind of just having fun, being a bit sarcastic with it. It’s very slapstick and very on the nose,” she said.

In 2020, NME reviewed ‘Smile’, giving it two stars and writing: “It’s frustrating, as this is the woman behind some of the most fun – and biggest-selling – songs of all time. But as much as you want ‘Smile’ to be a return to form, her fifth album’s songs fail to grip. All in all, ‘Smile’ lacks the fireworks of Perry’s record-breaking years.”

In other news, Perry recently praised Charli XCX and her ‘Brat‘ culture phenomenon, calling her a “super mega pop star”.
