Girl group KATSEYE have announced a remix of their hit single ‘Touch’ with Tomorrow X Together (TXT) member Yeonjun.

Today (October 10), KATSEYE dropped a teaser of the upcoming ‘Touch’ remix, revealing that TXT’s Yeonjun will feature on the track. The image is a spin on the single’s original cover art, which includes porcelain dolls representing each member of the group act, along with a new doll representing the K-pop idol in the centre.

“TXT’s Yeonjun wrote his very own verse for this new feature. His lyrics add a unique touch to the overall feel of the track. We hope you enjoy this special remake,” the group said in a statement on Weverse. The new ‘Touch’ remix arrives on October 11 at Midnight EST/1pm KST.

KATSEYE originally dropped ‘Touch’ in July as the second single from their debut EP ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’. In a four-star review of the record, NME’s Mika Chen called it a “surprisingly cohesive release that largely captures the group’s enormous potential”, but criticised the short length of its tracks.

Comprising members Sophia, Manon, Daniella, Lara, Megan and Yoonchae, KATSEYE was formed in November 2023 through HYBE x Geffen Records’ reality show Dream Academy. They were the final six among the 20 contestants who competed in the series.

Meanwhile, Yeonjun recently became the first member of TXT to go solo with his single ‘GGUM’. The boyband last released music as a full group this April with their sixth mini-album ‘minisode 3: Tomorrow’ and its lead single ‘Deja Vu’.

In other K-pop news, TWICE subunit MISAMO have released a remake of Namie Amuro’s 2008 song ‘New Look’. The track is the first of seven songs set to appear on their second mini-album ‘Haute Couture’, which arrives next month.
