Jorja Smith has returned with “GO GO GO,” the third single from her upcoming album, Falling or Flying.
On this alt-leaning track, infused with potent pop-rock influences and produced by DAMEDAME*, Smith candidly expresses her desire to maintain privacy in her personal affairs.
“You like to kiss and tell about it all / I don’t know you that well and I’m not tryna get to know you,” she sings over a sunny acoustic guitar that’s punctuated by lively percussion.
“‘GO GO GO’ is kind of a f you song. Why do people have to kiss and tell, kind of vibe,” explains Smith. “I’m in my little alternative bag, but I’ve always kind of been in it. People might be like, ‘I didn’t expect this’, but I’m like: ‘well, I would!’”
“GO GO GO” is the follow-up to Smith’s other tracks “Little Things” and “Try Me.” It is accompanied by a video directed by Amber Grace Johnson, which can be viewed below.

Regarding Falling or Flying, Smith explained “This album is like my brain. There’s always so much going on but each song is definitely a standstill moment. It touches on breakups, relationships with my friends, relationships with old friends, relationships with myself. It’s definitely about a lot of relationships, but every song I write I can sing it to myself.”
Falling or Flying will release Sept. 29 via FAMM. It will follow Smith’s 2018 debut album, Lost & Found.
On Sept. 28, the British singer will launch a mini tour to support Falling or Flying. The four-date itinerary includes stops in Kingston upon Thames, England; Nottingham, U.K.; London, U.K., and Britsol, England. All shows are sold out.
