Jhené Aiko’s ‘The Pressure’ Is Now Certified Gold

Jhené Aiko has collected her first RIAA award of 2022. Her 2014 track “The Pressure” has been certified gold by the RIAA with more than 500,000 equivalent units sold.

The Fisticuffs-produced song appears on Aiko’s debut album, Souled Out. The album reached gold status in 2020.

Last year, Aiko collected eight platinum certifications, including one for her Grammy-nominated album, ChilomboShe also picked up four gold plaques, including “On The Way” featuring her sister Mila J. It appears on the deluxe edition of Chilombo

Last Sunday, Aiko performed “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl LVI pregame show.

On March 19, Aiko will perform at the Smokin’ Grooves Festival at LA State Historic Park in Los Angeles, California.

On May 1, she will co-headline the Sol Blume Festival at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California.
