Jhene Aiko takes it back to the simpler times on her latest release, “Calm & Patient”.
Co-produced by herself along with Amaire Johnson and Julian Le, the Los Angeles singer embraces her current stage and uplifts those going through tough times.
“I’m satisfied with life / I do not just get by, I thrive,” she sings. “What a miracle to be up and alive / Sending love to those who are stuck in the fight.”
The song marks Aiko’s first music since her feature on Tyga’s “Sunshine” featuring Pop Smoke. Last November, Jhene and Big Sean welcomed their baby boy, Noah.
