J.Cole ‘The Off-Season’ Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard 200

J.Cole has just scored his sixth consecutive No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 with his latest album, The Off-Season.

Released on May 14, the album put up 282,000 equivalent album units in its first week with 37,000 of the sum in traditional album sales. The 12 tracks comprise 243,000 SEA units equaling 325.05 million on-demand streams.

The Off-Season marks the largest week of 2021 for a hip-hop album, and the second-biggest overall behind Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

J.Cole’s previous chart-toppers include his 2018’s KOD, followed by 2016’s 4 Your Eyez Only, 2014 Forest Hills Drive in 2014, Born Sinner in 2013, and his debut Cole World: The Sideline Story in 2011. Congrats.
