Rising singer-songwriter Inayah is back with her new single “Hot Sauce,” produced by Killa B and Ali Prawl.
On the spicy track, Inayah tells off an unfaithful lover, scorching them with lines like “I wish you the worst of luck” and “tell your mama I don’t like her neither.”
Speaking on “Hot Sauce,” Inayah shares: “It’s like telling them, ‘You missed out and let go of something exceptional.’” She continues, “It’s so ‘how dare you?’”
“Hot Sauce” arrives with an official video, directed by Jerry Morka, which can be viewed below.
“Hot Sauce” is the follow-up to Inayah’s other kiss-off anthem “For The Streets,” which interpolates Fantasia‘s 2006 classic “When I See U.”
“Hot Sauce” and “For The Streets” mark the beginning of a new era, following her 2022 EP, Insecure. The eight-track project included the popular track “Most Girlz” and the DIXSON-featured “California Taxi.”
Last year, Inayah achieved her first award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Her 2019 single “Best Thing” was certified platinum for selling over one million equivalent units.
