HARDY Goes Full Country Again With New Album COUNTRY! COUNTRY!, Drops New Single “Bottomland”

Country

Okay, this is not a drill: HARDY is heading back to the dirt roads and duck blinds with a full-blown return to country music, and y’all… he’s doing it in camo.

HARDY Goes Full Country Again With New Album COUNTRY! COUNTRY!, Drops New Single “Bottomland”

After dabbling in the rock world (and earning some serious metalhead cred with QUIT!!), the Mississippi-born hitmaker is trading distortion for dobro on his newly announced album COUNTRY! COUNTRY!, set to drop September 26 via Big Loud Records.

The announcement came with a teaser of his latest single, “Bottomland”, and now that it’s officially out, we can confirm—it’s got that fresh-country edge HARDY fans have been craving. With nods to his backwoods upbringing, a shoutout to Mossy Oak camo, and lyrics that wrap around his Southern roots like a good hunting jacket, this song might just be the anthem of his reentry into the genre.

“This Is What Makes HARDY, HARDY”

According to HARDY himself, this record is a celebration of everything that makes him him—from the muddy roads of Philadelphia, Mississippi to his love of songwriting with his Nashville crew. He describes COUNTRY! COUNTRY! as a “refreshed” take on the genre, laced with reflections on youth, Southern pride, and even a little side-eye at the state of mainstream country music.

And if the name sounds familiar, it should—HARDY dropped the COUNTRY! EP earlier this year with five stripped-back tracks that hinted he wasn’t done with his roots just yet. Now, the full-length project builds on that momentum with songs that explore both grit and grace.

From the Opry to the Garden

It’s been a whirlwind year for HARDY, and he’s not slowing down. He’s currently crisscrossing the country on his JIM BOB World Tour, with festival and headline stops that include his first-ever show at Madison Square Garden on September 24, just two days before the new album drops.

That’s not all—he made his Grand Ole Opry debut earlier this year (with none other than Metallica’s James Hetfield in the crowd), dominated late-night TV, racked up 16 No. 1s, and blew past 6 billion career streams. Casual.

“Bottomland” Is Just the Beginning

The new single, “Bottomland,” is already shaping up to be a fan favorite—and if it’s any indication of the rest of the album, HARDY’s about to deliver a record that’s just as rowdy as it is reflective.

Whether you’re Team Mockingbird, Team Crow, or somewhere in the middle, COUNTRY! COUNTRY! sounds like it’s about to be the most HARDY thing HARDY’s ever done.
