Gravesend Announces East Coast U.S. Tour Alongside Maul |

Metal

Gravesend just announced a crushing death metal tour across the U.S. East Coast alongside Maul.

Although Gravesend hail from New York and Maul come from Fargo, North Dakota, the vastly different home scenes don’t stop the bands from having a lot in common when it comes to their sound and straightforward, gnarly approach to the genre.

Known as the Stomped and Mauled East Coast tour, the dates will kick off February 29 in Brooklyn, NY at St. Vitus Bar and end March 9 in Tampa, Florida at Brass Mugg. The March 7 date will feature support from Swamp and Blunt Force Trauma.

Gravesend Announces East Coast U.S. Tour Alongside Maul

This past year, Gravesend released the record Gowanus Death Stomp on October 27 via 20 Buck Spin.

Their press release at the time explained about the album:

“The dark, seedy underworld of New York City once again emerges as the cityscape is tainted by sewage, crack smoke, and the trade of flesh. The streets, once bustling with life, permeate with the grotesque and filth-ridden chaos of yesteryear. Among these harsh realities, within the walls of the dimly lit alley ways, a stench reeks of bodily fluids and rat feces.

We can’t wait for them to take this festering energy on tour across the East Coast.
