EP: BJ The Chicago Kid ‘Three’

Hip Hop

Three’s a charm.

After bringing back his BJ Wednesdays last month, BJ The Chicago Kid releases his new EP, Three.

The three-track project opens with his new record “Making Me Mad”, where he laments on a partner who thrives off toxicity. The project also features his most weekly drops “Smooth” and “6 Months”.

“It feels good to be independent and finally be able to give my fans the music I’ve been making closer to the time it’s been created”, says BJ in a press release. It’s an empowering feeling because I think as artists often by the time a project comes out, we have emotionally detached from it. Three is special because this is very much my current takes or feelings on love and relationships instead of my thoughts from 1 to 2 years ago!”

Three follows the Chicago singer’s previous EP, 4 AM in July. BJ also recently collaborated with Vic Mensa, Lute, and was featured on the soundtrack to
Judas & The Black Messiah.
