Ella Langley Releases New Single “Weren’t For The Wind” From Forthcoming Deluxe Album ‘Still Hungover’

Ella Langley News

The Alabama native is one of the hottest names among female country artists these days. After releasing her record hungover, she quickly got back into the studio, capturing the hearts of fans with her hit duet “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green. As the two were on tour together, they teamed up again for a single that will be featured on Green’s forthcoming album, Don’t Mind If I Do.

While country music fans love this powerhouse duo (and often question whether there could be a romantic flame there), Langley reminds fans with her new single that she’s a force to be reckoned with on her own.

Last week, Langley announced the deluxe version of her album, Still Hungover, which includes four new singles, and today, she released the first single from that collection.

“Weren’t For The Wind” is a certified heater for those who flee when you get scared or walk away when things look like they won’t pan out in your favor. The opening line of Langley saying, “I wouldn’t paint me as a heartbreaker,” sets the scene that she’s leaving another relationship. While the lyrics don’t detail what made her go, she’s on the move again.

“I wouldn’t paint me as a heartbreaker
But I’ve said a few goodbyes
I’d make a promise but i know later
I’m bound to change my mind
Depending on the weather I’m goin’
Hell baby nobody knows when
Yeah if it was a different time
Might have been different in a different life…”
