Emerging artist Dylan Reese has teamed up with Musiq Soulchild for this new single “Lose Your Love.”
The tender tune is about doing whatever it takes to keep a relationship going strong.
“I don’t ever wanna lose your love, baby / That would be more than my heart can take / I don’t ever wanna lose your love, baby / That would be nothing more than a foolish mistake,” they sing on the chorus.
“Lose Your Love” is the third single from Reese’s upcoming project. “[It’s] one of my favorite records,” Reese tells Rated R&B via email. “It came together pretty naturally, which is always a plus. I made the demo and thought of Musiq immediately.”
He added, “Once the record was finished, we got to connect further via FaceTime, which led to me flying to ATL for the music video. This is a true bucket-list collab. He is one of my biggest musical influences and it’s been an honor to work with him. I’m so excited to share it with the world finally. I think it’s a great representation of what we both do.”
A video for “Lose Your Love” will premiere on Saturday (May 8).
