Dvsn Announces Second Leg of ‘Working On My Karma World Tour’

R&B

Dvsn has announced 13 additional tour dates for the second leg of their Working On My Karma World Tour.

The new leg opens Sept. 4 at Billboard Live in Osaka, Japan, with two other stops Sept. 6 to Sept. 7 in Tokyo, Japan.

After their concerts overseas, dvsn will be back in North America to perform in various major cities such as Nashville, St. Louis, New Orleans, and Orlando, Florida from November to December.

Presale tickets are available now. General on-sale tickets will go on sale Friday, July 28, at 10 a.m. local time.

Dvsn launched the first leg of their Working On My Karma Tour in late January, starting in the U.K. and Europe prior to a North American run stretching from mid-February to early April.

The R&B duo’s international trek supports their fourth album, Working On My Karma, released in October 2022. The album included features from Jagged Edge and Yung Bleu and the singles “If I Get Caught” and “What’s Up.”

Fans and critics, particularly on Twitter, expressed their concerns about the controversial former track, stating that it is too toxic. However, in an interview with Rated R&B, dvsn defended their position against this notion.

“Toxic is the word thrown around anytime we get into topics that are a little taboo or conversations people don’t want to have,” said Nineteen85. “Some of these things aren’t necessarily toxic; they’re just very real or uncomfortable.”

Daniel Daley, the vocalist of dvsn, added, “Honesty should never be looked at as toxicity. I don’t think that somebody being transparent about their flaws should be looked at as toxic. What’s toxic is someone [with] a bunch of flaws acting like they have none.”

Working On My Karma was featured at No. 18 on Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums of 2022 list. The album was placed in between Steve Lacy’s Gemini Rights and Muni Long’s Public Displays of Affection: The Album.

Back in June, dvsn received their very first career nomination for Best Group at the 2023 BET Awards.
