Drake Leaks Kanye & Andre 3000 Song

Hip Hop

Drake took his pittyness to new heights and prolonged his ongoing feud with Kanye west on the airwaves.

While making a guest host appearance on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 on Saturday morning (Sep. 4), Drake played cuts off his Certified Lover Boy album and proceeded to play Kanye and Andre 3000’s “Life Of The Party”, which was previewed in Las Vegas last month and again earlier this week in Berlin.

On the six-minute song, Kanye calls out Drake by name and addresses the group text he posted on Instagram after hearing Drake’s shots on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal“.

On the record, Kanye raps, “CyHi told me to my face that ‘Sicko Mode’ was his biggest song / But go on, ’cause Donda was the best ghostwriter I ever had”. He continued, “I put Virgil and Drake on the same text, and it wasn’t about the matching Arc’teryx or KiD CuDi dress/Just told these grown men stop it with the funny shit / I might hire the whole team from ACG.” Ye later adds, “Thought we was the new Abu Dhabi / Told Drake don’t play with me on GD / And he sent that message to everybody / So if I hit you with a ‘WYD’ / You better hit me with, ‘Yes sir, I’m writing everything you need’ / I told you I was gonna take the summer back / So any of the cap, won’t take none of that / Where my motherfu**in’ red hat?”

Andre avoids the feud with his verse but addresses the death of his mother in 2013, “Hey Miss Donda / If you run into my mama, please tell her I said, “Say something” / I’m starting to believe ain’t no such thing as heaven’s trumpets / No after-over, this is it, done / If there’s a Heaven you would think they’d let ya’ speak to your son”.
