The Grand Ole Opry is turning 100, and it’s doing so in style! On Wednesday, March 19, NBC will air Opry 100: A Live Celebration, a three-hour special hosted by none other than country superstar and Opry member Blake Shelton. The event will also be simulcast on Peacock, bringing this historic celebration to millions of fans across the nation.

The live broadcast promises an unforgettable night filled with performances from some of country music’s biggest names. The star-studded lineup includes Opry members Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Marty Stuart, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins, Trisha Yearwood, and Vince Gill. Special appearances by Randy Travis, Amy Grant, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, and The War And Treaty are also on the schedule, with even more surprises yet to be announced.

For Shelton, being part of the Opry’s centennial celebration is an honor. “Becoming a member of the Opry is a highlight of my life and career, and 15 years later, I still get that same feeling of reverence and excitement every time I walk out on that stage,” Shelton shared. “The Grand Ole Opry has been connecting the country music family for 100 years, and I’m so proud to be part of this historic celebration.”

Fans can also look forward to exclusive content from the Grand Ole Opry House and the Ryman Auditorium, two iconic venues in Nashville that have become synonymous with country music. Known as the “Mother Church of Country Music,” the Ryman was once the Opry’s home and remains a beloved part of its history.
