Destin Conrad Shares New Song ‘Luv n Devotion’

R&B

Destin Conrad steps into a new era with the release of his new single “Luv n Devotion.”

He co-wrote the island-tinged track with singer, songwriter and producer Leven Kali (Beyoncé, Jazmine Sullivan), who co-produced it with Sol Was.

Heavy under the influence of alcohol, Conrad begins to see a former lover in a new light. He hopes their relationship will thrive this time around.

“If we do this one more time / Promise to me that it’s going be one more time / ‘Cause my heart can’t take this for real / I can’t be jaded for real / We can’t keep breaking this deal,” sings Conrad.

“Luv n Devotion” is Conrad’s fourth song released as a lead act this year. His series of song releases began in March with “Switch.”

He later dropped “To This Day,” which featured Musiq Soulchild and was exclusive to Spotify. However, the song is now available across all streaming platforms.

Discussing his collaboration with Soulchild, Conrad said, “I’ve done songs with people where we never got into the studio together. We would each work at our own studios and send verses back and forth. To work in the same studio with a legend like Musiq Soulchild is something I still can’t fully put into words. I’ve been a fan of his since before I can remember and now we have a song together.”

In August, Conrad issued “Outta Control,” a song produced by Louie Lastic and Ghetto Kids.

Conrad has made himself available as a featured artist this year, joining Austin Millz, Kiana Ledé and Mahalia for their respective releases.

Nearly a year has passed since Conrad’s last project, Satin, in November 2022, following Colorway in 2021.
