I don’t know about you, but Corrosion of Conformity‘s expected double album coming some time this year is up there on the hype meter for me. It’s damn near impossible for the guys to disappoint, so I’ve been chomping at the bit to hear some new tunes. So you can imagine my jealousy when I saw the other night that fans down in Mexico got the chance to not only hear the first single “Gimme Some Moore” in person, but also get their hands on physical 7″ vinyl versions as well.
Corrosion of Conformity played a show down at the Multiforo Cultural Alicia in Mexico City this past Saturday to kick off their Latin American tour. In a post on their social media pages, the band revealed the single’s existence, stating that the physical version of the song would be available for fans. In addition to the new track, the single also came with a cover of the 1981 Fear song “I Love Livin In The City”.
In today’s day and age, it’s shocking to me that no one’s ripped the single and posted it online anywhere. Believe me, I looked. I know it’s only a matter of time, but I need me some new CoC.
And while they’re currently on tour in Latin America, they’ve got plans to tour North America starting this April with Clutch and JD Pinkus on the ‘Suffer No Evil’ tour. You can check out the dates for that run below and get your tickets today.
