Coco Jones has released her new single “Taste.”
The sultry track, which samples Britney Spears’ 2003 hit “Toxic,” was produced by Stargate, Jasper Harris, and Aaron Shadrow.
Over a silky production, Jones finds herself spellbound by her partner’s bedroom skills. “Got me where I’d never be / Way you kiss my lips and leave a legacy / Oh, to live without you, what a tragedy,” she coos.
“Taste” is accompanied by a video, which can be watched below. It is the third single from Jones’ highly awaited debut album, Why Not More? which releases April 25 via High Standardz/Def Jam.
The album will include Jones’ Grammy-nominated hit “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” and “Most Beautiful Design” featuring Future and London on da Track. In late January, Jones released her “Here We Go (Uh Oh) [Remix]” featuring Leon Thomas.

Jones kicked off her debut era with “Here We Go” in May 2024. The Lenny Williams-sampled track spent seven nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart.
In a previous interview with Rated R&B, Jones shared her approach to her debut album, which is the follow-up to her debut EP, What I Didn’t Tell You. “The EP made me want to explore different sounds [and] different genres, seeing how I could mix them,” Jones explained.
She added, “I felt like a scientist whose one experiment did really well, and it’s like, ‘Oh damn, okay.’ Now I’m getting all mad creative, just trying a bunch of different things because I’m like, ‘That was good. Let’s see what else I can do.’ [I’m] just motivated.”
In March, Jones will perform at the Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival in Miami Gardens, Florida. The two-day festival, headlined by New Edition and Toni Braxton, will also feature performances by Xscape, Dru Hill, Kem, Doechii, and more.
