Chris Brown’s “Residuals” is a bonafide hit that keeps growing.

The downcast ballad has achieved a new milestone on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay, rising from No. 13 to No. 8 on the chart, as R&B girl group Psiryn’s “Sober” holds the top spot for a second week. It earns Brown his eighth top 10 on this chart.

Of his total top 10s, five are No. 1s, which were all earned in the 2020s decade. Brown’s latest visit to the top 10 was with his 2024 hit “Sensational” featuring Davido and Lojay. The Grammy-nominated track spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Adult R&B chart, Brown’s second longest-running No. on this list.

Furthermore, “Residuals” is Brown’s first solo top 10 on the Adult R&B Airplay in six years and his second overall. His previous visit was with 2019’s “Undecided,” which peaked at No. 4.
