The Tycoon Festival, produced in collaboration with Brown and Live Nation, will be hosted by comedian DC Young Fly.

Monica released her single “Letters” last summer, with a video co-starring The Game.

Monica wrote “Letters” with Tasha Catour, Ciara, Alicia Renee Williams and Brian “Killah B” Bates. The track debuted at No. 11 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart.

“Letters” is expected to appear on Monica’s oft-delayed album, Trenches. The project will include her other singles, “Friends” with Ty Dolla $ign, and “Trenches” featuring Lil Baby.

As for Mario, in 2023, he announced his deal with Epic Records in partnership with his imprint, New Citizen.

“Right now, Epic comprises some of the greats in the music game like Sylvia Rhone and Ezekiel Lewis. I’ve been independent for eight years, so this is definitely a new chapter for me and New Citizen,” said Mario. “We’re going to be one of the chariots for R&B, and we’re bringing it back.”

The Baltimore, Maryland, native released his single “Main One” with rappers Lil Wayne and Tyga. The song has over six million streams on Spotify.

Mario has yet to announce a new project to follow 2018’s Dancing Shadows
