Chris Brown and Davido Release ‘Hmmm’ Video: Watch

R&B

Chris Brown has released a video for his Davido-assisted track “Hmmm.”

Directed by Travis Colbert, the black-and-white visual opens with an aerial shot of Brown and Davido’s motorcade of SUVs. They reach a warehouse, where they are greeted by a group of fans. It isn’t long before Brown is showing off his intricate moves with a troupe of dancers. Davido keeps it cool as he delivers his verse surrounded by armed guards.

“Hmmm” is Brown’s fourth consecutive video in a span of four weeks. It follows “Feel Something,” “Press Me,” and “Go Girlfriend,” all directed by Jamar Harding

Brown’s back-to-back videos are part of his promise to his fans, Team Breezy, to drop one video per week leading up to the launch of his 11:11 Tourwhich begins tonight (June 5) in Detroit. His previous videos were released on a Friday, but “Hmmm” was moved up as a surprise for his fans.

The standard version of 11:11 was released Nov. 10 via RCA Records. The album was preceded by the Grammy-nominated single “Summer Too Hot” and the No. 1 hit “Sensational” featuring Davido and Lojay. The latter song was also No. 1, topping rhythmic radio in September 2023.

As noted above, Brown has officially kicked off his 11:11 Tour to support his 11th album. The tour will feature special guests Maeta, Ayra Starr, and Muni Long. The latter two artists will appear at select stops, while Maeta will perform in every city.
