The internet is going nuts over a video of a child chugging a beer at a recent college football game.
The moment was captured at a University of Texas football game.
The clip shows a child lifting a canned beverage to her mouth several times. Although the drink is nestled in an orange can cooler sleeve, the colors at the top of the can are very similar to that of a Michelob Ultra.
The can is split down the middle in blue and silver, with a red ribbon running down the side.
While many fans were genuinely concerned, there were several who seized the opportunity to crack jokes at the absurd situation.
“Finally a kid not using an iPad,” one writes.
“It’s ok it’s just Michelob it’s basically water,” another chimes in.
Someone took a swing at the state of Texas, saying: “It’s Texas. It’s legal with the guardian present.”
“Tell me you’re from Texas without telling me you’re from Texas!” another quips.

Did a Kid Really Drink Beer at a UT Game?
It’s hard to tell what actually happened during this moment, and the person who shared the video didn’t offer up any other details. A few comments say that the mother did notice this was happening, but also determined that the can was empty.
Because the child is tipping the can back so far, it’s very likely that there was nothing in the can. Or perhaps, the child picked up the empty can and filled it with water. The kid next to her has a large bottle of water and, if you have kids, you know they love to pour things,
Out of context, however, this video just looks bad.
Kids and Alcohol … It Happens
Sadly, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. In 2008, a child was seen drinking a Mike’s Hard Lemonade at a Detroit Lions baseball game.
Earlier this year, a 2-year-old was mistakenly served alcohol at Fujiyama Japanese Restaurant in California. The parents had requested apple juice, but were instead given cooking wine.
