Legendary R&B singer Charlie Wilson makes a smooth return with his new single “Keep Me In Love” via P Music Group.
On the heartwarming anthem, Wilson radiates like the summer sun about a love that has his heart on lock. It’s the type of romantic bliss that feels unreal, like a sweet dream.
“Ever since the first date / You won the game / And now you wear my last name / My everything / If they see me, they gon’ see you,” he sings.
“Keep Me In Love” is yet another bona fide groove by Wilson and sounds destined to be his next No. 1 hit — his 11th, to be exact — on the R&B charts.
Speaking on his new song, Wilson shares, “R&B has given so much to me, and I feel a responsibility to give it something back. Real stories, real love and real music. ‘Keep Me In Love’ is a reminder that love doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be joyful, it can be steady and it can feel good.”

Michael Paran, CEO of P Music Group, adds, “Charlie has always had a rare ability to evolve while staying true to who he is. This record captures that magic. It’s timeless but fresh and it shows why he’s still one of the most consistent and beloved voices in music.”
“Keep Me In Love” precedes Wilson’s upcomingUncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout Tourwith special guests Babyface, El DeBarge and K-Ci Hailey.
The tour kicks off Aug. 27 at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, with stops in Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Charlotte and more. The tour wraps up Oct. 12 at FedEx Forum in Memphis. Tickets are on sale now.
“This tour is unlike anything I’ve done before. As someone who truly loves R&B, getting to share the stage with my friends Babyface, K-Ci, and El is something I’m really looking forward to,” said Wilson. “I’ve been performing for so long that my audience isn’t just made up of fans, it really has become a family. Over the years, I’ve come to recognize so many faces, and we’ve grown together through the music. The R&B cookout is gonna be one big family reunion for us and our fans.”
“Keep Me In Love” is the follow-up to “Superman,” released in December 2023. The triumphant track became Wilson’s 10th No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, where it spent three weeks.
